Text Message Consent

How customers agree to receive texts from (800) 538-0048

Effective date: October 1, 2026

JATL Medical Services LLC d/b/a DNA Test America (also known as La Prueba de ADN) sends appointment text messages from (800) 538-0048 only to customers who agree to receive them. Customers can opt in in two ways.

1. By Phone, When Scheduling an Appointment

When a customer calls (800) 538-0048 to schedule a DNA test, our representative or automated scheduling assistant reads the following before sending any text:

English: “May we send text messages to this number to confirm your appointment and remind you the day before? Message frequency varies, usually 1 to 3 messages per appointment. Message and data rates may apply. You can reply STOP at any time to cancel or HELP for help. Do you agree?”

Spanish: “¿Podemos enviarle mensajes de texto a este número para confirmar su cita y recordársela el día antes? La frecuencia varía, normalmente de 1 a 3 mensajes por cita. Pueden aplicar tarifas de mensajes y datos. Puede responder ALTO o STOP en cualquier momento para cancelar, o AYUDA para ayuda. ¿Está de acuerdo?”

Texts are sent only if the customer says yes. The date and time of consent are recorded with the appointment. Customers who say no are still scheduled; consent is not a condition of purchase.

2. By Text Message

Customers can text CITA or APPT to (800) 538-0048. They receive this reply:

DNA Test America: You’re subscribed to appointment alerts. Msg frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help, STOP to cancel.

Opting Out

Reply STOP or ALTO to any message. Confirmation sent:

DNA Test America: You have been unsubscribed and will receive no more messages. Reply START to rejoin.

Sample Messages

DNA Test America: Hi Maria, your DNA test appointment is confirmed for Oct 8 at 10:00 AM at 1234 Main St, Dallas, TX. Questions? Call (800) 538-0048. Reply STOP to opt out.

DNA Test America: Reminder: your DNA test appointment is tomorrow at 10:00 AM at 1234 Main St, Dallas, TX. Bring a photo ID for each adult. Reply STOP to opt out.

La Prueba de ADN: Hola Maria, su cita para la prueba de ADN quedó confirmada para el 8 de octubre a las 10:00 AM en 1234 Main St, Dallas, TX. Preguntas: (800) 538-0048. Responda ALTO para no recibir más mensajes.
